Peter Kramer

Peter Kramer is a psychiatrist and writer. In his bestseller Listening to Prozac (1993), he describes his experiences with the drug as a psychiatrist and tries to understand the consequences of pills that change our ‘selves’. Kramer works as a Professor in Psychiatry at Brown University and has his own practice. Besides his book on Prozac, he has written works such as Freud: Inventor of the Modern Mind (2006) and the novel Spectacular Happiness (2001).
