René Foqué

René Foqué studied law and philosophy at KU Leuven and French language and literature at the University of Lille. He is Professor of Law Philosophy and Law Theory in Leuven and at Erasmus University Rotterdam. He is also the director of the Centre for Fundamental Research in Law, and teaches at the European Inter-University Centre for Human Rights and Democratization in Venice. He was a co-author of Punishment, Restorative Justice and the Morality of Law (2005).
