Robert Holl

Robert Holl is a prominent bass-baritone. He made his name as a concert and Lieder singer with the Bayerische Staatsoper. Holl worked with Claudio Abbado, Pierre Boulez, Daniel Barenboim and others, and has sung all the great opera roles. He performed Wagner’s Tannhaüser and Tristan und Isolde with the Wiener Staatsoper, and each year performs at the Bayreuther Festspiele. Besides singing, Holl also composes Lieder, organizes Schubert festivals in the Netherlands and Austria, and teaches singing at the Universität für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Vienna.
