Rudi Fuchs

Rudi Fuchs was the director of the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam between 1993 and 2003. Previously, he was director of the Van Abbe Museum in Eindhoven and the Gemeentemuseum in The Hague. He has been the first Professor in the chair for Art Presentation at the University of Amsterdam since 1 January 2005. Fuchs is also an art critic and the author of books on Karel Appel, Rembrandt and others, as well as on Dutch painting.
