Serguei Milstein

Serguei Milstein is violist. He was born in Lyon into a family of musicians and began playing the violin at the age of six. In 2014, he won the second prize at the Concours Flame, a competition for young musicians in Paris. Milstein regularly participates in masterclasses in France, Italy, and Austria, and has performed at chamber music festivals such as the Duinstreek Chamber Music Festival in the Netherlands and the French Festival de Musique de Chambre aux Monts d’Or. Since September 2020, Serguei has been studying at the conservatory of Amsterdam with Eliot Lawson. Serguei plays an instrument made by the famous nineteenth-century violin builder Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume.
