Víctor Pérez Díaz

Víctor Pérez Díaz is the director of Analistas Socio-Políticos, an institute for social research in Madrid. He gained his PhD at Harvard in 1977 and was Professor of Sociology at the Complutense University in Madrid between 1980 and 2009. Pérez Díaz wrote the book La esfera pública y la sociedad civil (‘The Public Sphere and Civil Society’, 1997), Una interpretación liberal del futuro de España (‘A Liberal Interpretation of Spain’s Future’, 2002) and Sueño y razón de América Latina (‘Dream and Reason of Latin America’, 2005).
