Vittorio Hösle

Vittorio Hösle is a philosopher. After a rapid academic career in Germany, he became Professor of German, Philosophy and Political Science at the American university of Notre Dame. His oeuvre is made up of works for a general audience as well as specialist studies. Among his many works are The Dead Philosophers’ Café (1997, trans. 2000), his magnum opus Morals and Politics (1997, trans. 2004) and Woody Allen: An Essay on the Nature of the Comical (2007).
