Walter Methlagl
Walter Methlagl studied philosophy and German at the University of Innsbruck, and went on to teach there. Between 1979 and 2001, he was the director of the Brenner-Archiv, a research institute at the University of Innsbruck. Methlagl is mostly occupied with translation of and and research about Danish authors like Søren Kierkegaard and Steen Steensen Blicher.
