Wim Brands

Wim Brands was a poet and presenter. His debut appeared in 1978, and his poems were published in various literary journals. Among his books of poetry are In de metro (1997), De schoenen van de buurman (1999)and Neem me mee, zei de hond (2010). Brands worked for the Dutch broadcasting company VPRO since 1987, presenting the radio shows De Avonden and Brands met boeken and making the TV show Boeken. Brands teached at the Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam.
