Amos Elon

Amos Elon began his journalistic career in the 1950s as an American and European correspondent for Haaretz, the newspaper for which he would keep working until his retirement in 2001. He also contributed regularly to The New York Review of Books and The New York Times Magazine, and has written books such as The Israelis: Founders and Sons (1971), Jerusalem, City of Mirrors (1989) and the novel Timetable (1980).
