Caroline Noirot

Caroline Noirot began her career in 1997 as an intern at the French publishing house Les Belles Lettres, becoming its director in 2007. Les Belles Lettres specializes in classical literature and focuses on publishing ancient texts in bilingual editions, that encompass various disciplines. Consequently, it has made significant contributions to the advancement of our understanding of the classics. Besides Greek and Latin, the catalogue of Les Belles Lettres now also includes texts in Japanese, Chinese, Sanskrit, and Old French. The academically oriented Collection Budé enjoys international recognition.
