David Rijser

David Rijser is Associate Professor of Latin at the University of Amsterdam. He regularly contributes to the book section of NRC Handelsblad, writing especially on Antiquity and the Italian Renaissance. In 2012, he gained his PhD with a thesis on Raphael’s Poetics. Art and Poetry in High Renaissance Rome.
