Frank Furedi
Frank Furedi is a sociologist. He studied political science in Montreal and London and gained his PhD at London University. Since 2001, Furedi has been Professor of Sociology at the University of Kent, where he started working as a researcher in 1975. He is known as a TV and radio commentator and as the author of books on Western culture, education and the school system. Among his books are Paranoid Parenting (2001), Where Have All the Intellectuals Gone? Confronting Twenty-First Century’s Philistinism (2004) and Wasted: Why Education Isn’t Educating (2009).
