Gilles J. Dorleijn

Gilles Dorleijn is Professor of Modern Dutch Literature at the University of Groningen and specializes in the relationship between music and poetry. He wrote on J.C. Bloem, J.H. Leopold and M. Nijhoff. With Kees van Rees, he wrote De impact van literatuuropvattingen in het literaire veld (1993), which first united empirical and sociological literary studies with literary history and poetic theory, and De productie van literatuur (2006).
