Hans Maarten van den Brink

Hans Maarten van den Brink is a writer, journalist and cultural policy maker. He worked for NRC Handelsblad as an art editor and Spanish correspondent. Afterwards, he became head of the TV department of VPRO, and in 2004 and 2005 he was director of Witte de With art centre in Rotterdam. From 2006 to 2015 he was director of the Dutch Cultural Media Fund. He wrote a number of books, such as De dertig dagen van Sint Isidoor (1994) and Over het water (1998).
