biographer and literary historian
Harry G.M. Prick
Harry G.M. Prick was appointed by author Lodewijk van Deyssel as his future biographer when he was eighteen years old. After Van Deyssel’s death in 1952, he inherited his entire archive; half a century later, he completed a massive, two-volume biography. He also wrote Spelevaren (2007). Between 1969 and 1988, Prick was curator at the Literary Museum in The Hague.
