Iso Camartin

Iso Camartin is a writer. He studied philosophy and romance languages, and was a researcher at Harvard and various Swiss universities. Between 1985 and 1997, he was Professor of Rhaeto-Romance Culture and Literature at the University of Zürich. He wrote a number of books on European culture and identities, Im Garten der Freundschaft (2011) among them. Between 2000 and 2003, he led the cultural department of Swiss television, attempting to make high culture accessible to its viewers.
