Karl Popper

Karl Popper was a philosopher of science and a social and political thinker. He is mainly known because of his suggestion to replace verification with falsification as a criterion for the testing of scientific theories. He expressed his clear views on society in works such as The Open Society and Its Enemies (1945) and The Poverty of Historicism (1957).
