Mark Danner

Mark Danner is a writer and journalist. His journalistic work is mainly centered on international relations, war and conflict zones. Danner teaches English, journalism and political science at Berkeley and international relations at Bard College. Among his works are The Massacre at El Mozote: A Parable of the Cold War (1994), The Secret Way to War: The Downing Street Memo and the Iraq War’s Buried History (2006) and Torture and the Forever War (2012). He is a regular contributor to The New York Review of Books.
