Nico Frijda

Nico H. Frijda studied psychology at the University of Amsterdam, where he was Professor of Psychology between 1956 and 1992. He then became Extraordinary Professor of Emotional Theory until 2002, also in Amsterdam. In 2003, he became a lecturer and afterwards honorary fellow at Utrecht University’s University College. Among Frijda’s works are Post uit Friesland (1984), De psychologie heeft zin (1993) and The Laws of Emotions (2006).
