Pamela Paul

Pamela Paul is the editor of The New York Times Book Review and oversees books coverage at The New York Times. She also hosts the weekly Book Review podcast. Paul is the author of five books: The Starter Marriage and the Future of Matrimony (2003) was named one of the best books of 2002 by The Washington Post; her second book, Pornified (2005), was named one of the best books of 2005 by The San Francisco Chronicle. She is also the author of Par­enting, Inc. (2008), By the Book: Writers on Literature and the Literary Life from The New York Times Book Review (2014), and most recently, My Life with Bob: Flawed Heroine Keeps Book of Books, Plot Ensues (2017). Her sixth book, How to Raise a Reader, co-written with Maria Russo, will be out this fall. She is currently working on the book 100 Things We’ve Lost to the Internet.
