Pavel Tigrid
Pavel Tigrid was an influential writer, journalist and editor, who was born in Prague. During the Cold War, he lived in anti-communist exile in West-Germany, the United States and France. After the Velvet Revolution, he returned to the Czech Republic, where he was Minister of Culture in Vaclav Klaus’s government between 1994 and 1996. Later, he became a prominent advisor to Vaclav Havel.
