Ralph van Raat

Ralph van Raat is a pianist and musicologist. He graduated with honours both from the Amsterdam Conservatory, where he studied piano, and from the University of Amsterdam, where he studied musicology. Van Raat recorded various cds, had solo performances all over the world and played with over 25 orchestras in and outside the Netherlands. He is currently teaching contemporary piano at the conservatories in Utrecht and Amsterdam, and regularly contributes to scholarly journals on music. He has been Steinway Artist since 2003.
