Ramin Jahanbegloo

Ramin Jahanbegloo is Professor of Political Science at the University of Toronto (Canada) and a research fellow at that university’s Centre for Ethics. After studying at Harvard and the Sorbonne, he worked as a researcher and professor in Iran, the United States, Canada and India. He wrote over twenty books on philosophical issues, such as Conversations with Isaiah Berlin (1992), The Clash of Intolerances (2007) and The Spirit of India (2008). In 2006, the Iranian authorities imprisoned Jahanbegloo for four months, accusing him of preparing a velvet revolution.
