Richard J. Evans

Richard J. Evans is Professor of History at the University of Cambridge. He specializes in the social and cultural history of Germany in the twentieth century. Evans published a large number of books, of which In Defense of History (1999) and the Third Reich trilogy (2003-2008) are the best-known. He was expert witness in the David Irving trial and described this experience in Telling Lies about Hitler: The Holocaust, History and the David Irving Trial (2002). The Third Reich in History and Memory was published in 2015.
