Simon Rattle
Simon Rattle is a prominent conductor. He conducted the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO) from 1980 until 1998, and was a guest conductor with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra for some years. Since 2002, Rattle has been principal conductor with the Berlin Philharmonic. Among his many cd recordings, those of his Mahler performances are the most famous. From 2017, Rattle has been principal conductor with the London Symphony Orchestra.
