Andrew Delbanco
Andrew Delbanco is Professor in the Humanities at Columbia University in New York. His essays, on a wide variety of subjects, appear frequently in The New York Review of Books and The New Republic. He is the author of works such as The Death of Satan: How Americans Have Lost the Sense of Evil (1995), Melville: His World and Work (2005) and College. What It Was, Is and Should Be (2012).
