Arnon Grunberg

Arnon Grunberg is a celebrated writer, essayist and cosmopolitan. His debut, Blue Mondays, was published at the early age of 23. Besides novels, he has written plays, film scripts, a book of poetry, essays and travel reports. He won various literary prizes for novels such as Phantom Pain (2000) and Tirza (2006). In the early spring of 2015, his novella Het bestand was published in Dutch. Grunberg, whose work appears in more than fifteen languages, lives and works in New York and writes for NRC Handelsblad, Vrij Nederland, Hollands Maandblad and VPRO Gids and various international media.
