Bryan Magee

Bryan Magee was a philosopher, politician and writer. He developed an early interest in politics in his childhood years during World War II. He studied history, philosophy and economics at Oxford and Yale. After his studies, he began presenting the tv show This Week and making documentaries on social issues such as homosexuality and abortion. Between 1974 and 1982, he was a Member of Parliament for the British Labour Party. After leaving politics, he became a freelance writer. He published an intellectual biography entitled Confessions of a Philosopher: A Journey through Western Philosophy (1998). In 2001, Wagner and Philosophy appeared.
