Pumla Gobodo-Madikizela
Pumla Gobodo-Madikizela is Professor of Psychology at the University of Free State in Bloemfontein. She was a member of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission as the only psychologist. Important themes in her work are forgiveness, revenge and collective trauma. She wrote A Human Being Died That Night: A South African Story of Forgiveness (2003), Women’s Contributions to South Africa’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission (2005) and Narrating Our Healing (2007).
