Pierre Hassner
Pierre Hassner is an expert in international relations. He was a researcher at the Centre d’études et de Recherches Internationales and the Fondation Nationale des Sciences Politiques in Paris, and taught at the European Center of Johns Hopkins University in Bologna. Among his works are Violence and Peace. From the Atomic Bomb to Ethnic Cleansing (1995) and La terreur et l’empire (2003), as well as numerous essays on ethics, international relations, refugees, nation states, internal affairs, war, violence and totalitarianism, particularly from a political point of view, and on Europe after the Cold War.
