William Fallon
William Fallon is a four-star admiral, who retired from the us Navy after a distinguished forty-year career of military and strategic leadership, which he started as a combat aviator in Vietnam. He has led us and Allied forces in eight separate commands and played a leadership role in military and diplomatic matters at the highest levels of the government. As head of US Central Command, he directed all military operations in the Middle East, Central Asia and Horn of Africa, focusing on combat efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan. He previously led us Pacific Command for two years, and was serving in the Pentagon as Vice Chief of the Navy on September 11, 2001. After his retirement, Fallon worked as Chair of the Advisory Board at the Center for International Studies at MIT and was a partner in several businesses connected to cyber security. He is currently finishing his memoirs, focusing on the question which lessons can be learned from his military experience.
