Paul Mendes-Flohr

Paul Mendes-Flohr is Professor of Modern Jewish History at the University of Chicago and Professor Emeritus in Jewish Thought at Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He specializes in Jewish intellectual history, religious thought and modernity. Among his works are The Jew in the Modern World (with J. Reinharz, 1995) and Love, Accusative and Dative. Reflections on Leviticus 19:18 (2007).
